Inspired by The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, a woman who went on treacherous trips on her mule to deliver library books to the hill people of Kentucky, we strive to make books accessible to everyone! We are avid book lovers ourselves and understand how expensive books can get. It is our goal to keep prices affordable for everyone, everywhere. Otherwise known as the Book Woman - owner of this 2nd hand online book store! I have been an avid reader my entire life and have had a book in my hand for as long as I can remember. When I found myself as a new mother stuck inside the house in the first lockdown of Covid-19 in 2020, I reminded myself of what I have always told those who were apprehensive about reading for fun: a book can take you anywhere. Books can take you to a medieval castle in the 1500s, into the bed of a billionaire with a helicopter, or into a world with magic and witches; the possibilities are endless.​
So, in 2021, my Facebook group was born - Coast to Coast Bookselling Gals! Thousands of readers joined and Book Woman is the evolution of this. ​Book Woman: a name 99.1% of our Facebook community can resonate with. A label we live by everyday already. Book Woman, a woman who finds the greatest joy in a book that just can’t be put down. Book Woman, a friend who loves to recommend the next best read. Book Woman, a woman who enjoys talking books, sharing book memes, wearing bookish apparel and everything else books. If you’re still reading this chances are high you, too, are a Book Woman.
